X3 U.S. Demo Tour Wraps Up at the Pentagon

The X³ landed on the helipad of the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, where military personel had the opportunity to visit the aircraft during a static display in the morning. This final stop at the nation's capital marks a symbolic end to the X³'s month-long demo tour in the United States.

The X³ also performed its final flight in the country in the afternoon en route to Richmond, VA, to prepare for its journey back to France on August 1, taking with it very special thoughts for our colleagues and friends in the Eurocopter family who lost their lives in the Cougar accident yesterday. The X³ team dedicates this final flight in their memory.
