The X3 High-Speed Hybrid helicopter visits Huntsville’s Redstone Arsenal Army Airfield

On July 9 and 10, the X³ completed the second leg of its U.S. demo tour, this time with U.S. Army pilots taking the controls in the cockpit. During four daily rotations, service members experienced the performance and maneuverability of this new high-speed rotary-wing concept, which is particularly well adapted for missions where speed and rapid insertion and extraction are crucial.
